From Industry Veteran
to Professional Lobbyist
As the Principal of Lighthouse Point Government Relations, I bring 40 years of expertise in government affairs. I founded the company after a distinguished 12-year tenure as Vice President of Washington Operations at Fairbanks Morse Defense, where I drove strategic interactions with both the Legislative and Executive Branches.
Distinguished Service
Before joining Fairbanks Morse Defense, I retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after a distinguished 28-year career. I ended my service in 2011 as a Captain, serving as Chief of Naval Engineering, where I developed policies and managed budgets to maintain the readiness of Coast Guard cutters and boats. Prior to this, I was the Commanding Officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, overseeing various aspects of cutter and boat readiness.
Operational Leadership
Throughout my career, I held numerous positions both ashore and at sea, focusing on maintaining the operational capability of Coast Guard vessels. Additionally, I completed a four-year tour as an instructor in the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering section at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, further contributing to the training and development of future Coast Guard officers.
